電影《玩命關頭》至今推出7集，每每創下票房佳績。裡面令人熱血沸騰的飆車場景，以及角色之間的深摯情感都是吸引粉絲的一大賣點。正當第8集再過一週就即將殺青，固定班底的巨石強森卻突然在9號發一篇出乎大家意料的Po文。
巨石強森雖然擁有硬漢的外表，但在好萊塢卻是出了名的好好先生。沒想到他居然會在IG上面大發怒火，他先是表示他對於《玩命關頭》的滿腔熱忱，再來讚美同劇裡面的女演員表現都完美的無可挑惕，接著話鋒一轉，開始怒罵劇裡某位男演員是「膽小鬼」、「娘娘腔」等強烈字眼。還說，如果明年再看此片時，突然覺得他演戲生硬，都是因為這個人害的。

UNIVERSAL has been great partners as well. My female co-stars are always amazing and I love ’em. My male co-stars however are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don’t. The ones that don’t are too chicken shit to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses. When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling – you’re right. Bottom line is it’ll play great for the movie and fits this Hobbs character that’s embedded in my DNA extremely well. The producer in me is happy about this part?. 隔天就有媒體接獲劇組人員爆料，表示巨石強森所針對的就是身兼製片的馮迪索，兩人在許多方面都意見不合，讓巨石強森無法接受最終決定，害的兩人直接撕破臉。而有兩人同時出場的戲碼氣氛更是降到冰點，甚至差點拍不下去，使得拍戲進度落後。但在IG上巨石強森表示「儘管如此，我會為電影盡力演出，把路克哈伯這個角色發揮到極致，身為製作人的我為此感到慶幸，剩下最後一週我會全力以赴的。」
